Bear Lake

July 26th was our 5 year anniversary. Greg got me flowers and a secret souvenir from our Europe trip. He got Legos per his preference. I can't believe we have been married that long. But I am so lucky to have caught him. He's really awesome to be around, a great husband and father.
Two days later we were on a plane to Utah. We went up the canyon and stayed with the Gessels. Greg's Dad celebrated his birthday on Sunday and Monday and Wednesday. We went to the Sandy aquarium and looked at all the cool stuff including penguins and jelly fish. Thursday we headed up to Bear Lake where we had rented a cabin a couple doors down from the main relative cabin. Basically all my siblings were in this cabin with our kids. We had lots of fun at the lake and hanging out. Saturday was not as fun when Austin, Luke, and Tina started puking. Luke was stopped puking Sunday night, but we didn't really encourage eating since we were going on a plane and didn't want to clean up a nasty mess. He was so tired and weak that he slept most of the way and was very good. It easily could have gone the other way with him screaming the entire time. We really enjoyed our week in Utah and are sad it was so short we couldn't see friends this time.

That water looks so inviting! Both of those family shots are cute. I'm sorry Luke and some of his cousins got sick on vacation. Have you been vomiting during this pregnancy or have you just felt the nausea without the relief? Either way, I'm astounded you were able to travel!

Happy 5 years, too! :)

I have been nauseous and vomiting. But the vomiting doesn't really bring relief. It was not as comfortable as it could have been but it could have been worse.

Sorry there hasn't been much relief! You always seem to have a great attitude and it inspires me.
